Funeral Support Services

Background: A multilingual funeral company wanted to create a new website to better serve their English, Japanese and Chinese-speaking customers. They approached me to design a new website that would showcase their services in all languages, provide clear contact details, include a live chat feature for customers to ask questions and receive support, and a testimonials section for customers to share their experiences.

Objectives: My objectives were to:

  1. Create a multilingual and user-friendly website design that reflects the funeral company’s values and branding.
  2. Develop a responsive website that works well on all devices, including smartphones and tablets.
  3. Showcase the funeral company’s services, in English, Japanese and Chinese.
  4. Implement a live chat feature to provide real-time customer support and improve engagement.
  5. Include a testimonials section to showcase positive feedback from customers.

Solution: I created a website that met the objectives by following these steps:

  1. Design: I created a multilingual and modern website design that featured high-quality images and a calming colour palette. The website was designed to be easy to navigate, with clear and concise information about the funeral company’s services in English, Japanese and Chinese.
  2. Functionality: I included contact details on every page of the website, making it easy for customers to get in touch with the funeral company. I also implemented a live chat feature that provided real-time customer support and improved engagement. In addition, they created a testimonials section where customers could share their experiences and positive feedback.
  3. Content: I worked with the funeral company to organise and present information about their services in English, Japanese and Chinese. I created dedicated pages for different types of services, including funeral planning, embalming, and repatriation.

Results: The new bilingual website created by the web developer improved the funeral company’s online presence and helped to serve their English, Japanese and Chinese-speaking customers. The website was easy to use, visually appealing, and provided valuable information to customers in all languages.
